What We Do

At Functional Therapy 4 Kids, we offer speech therapy, coaching, and trainings that support children, families, and the professionals who work with them.

1

Provider Trainings

Practical, evidence-based trainings for schools, clinics, ABA centers, day cares, and child-care teams.

Topics include language and speech development, play skills, behavior support through communication, AAC and visuals, sensory and communication needs, and Gestalt Language Processing.

Trainings are tailored to your team and can be offered in person or online.

2

Comprehensive Evaluations

We look at your child’s strengths, communication style, and areas of need.

Our evaluations may include speech sounds, understanding and use of language, motor planning for speech (CAS), early communication skills, and AAC or feeding screenings when needed.

You receive a clear written report with specific recommendations for therapy and home routines.

3

Individualized Treatment

One-on-one speech therapy in your home or online, built around your child’s interests and daily routines.

Therapy is strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming, child-led, and play-based, so learning feels natural and joyful.

We work on functional goals that matter to your child and your family.

4

Parent Coaching & Education

Parent-friendly coaching that fits into real life.

We offer live webinars and workshops, AAC coaching, a 4-week virtual training program, and on-demand courses so you can learn at your own pace.

You’ll walk away with simple, concrete strategies you can use during meals, play, routines, and community outings.

5

Provider Collaboration

We partner with schools, therapists, and medical providers so everyone is working toward the same goals.

This may include sharing evaluation results, coordinating IEP goals and AAC plans, and supporting transitions between home, school, and community settings.

Our focus is a consistent, team-based plan that supports your child’s success and well-being.
